The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or change the room's label.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is easy. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people however it will aid in keeping the track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.
